Cream Of Mushroom Soup
A silky smooth mushroom soup enriched with cream and herbs, easily prepared in your Multicook
Ingredients :
1. 1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
2. 1 small onion (chopped)
3. 2 garlic cloves (minced)
4. 1 tbsp butter
5. 1 cup milk
6. ½ cup water or vegetable stock
7. Salt & pepper to taste
8. 1 tbsp cornflour (slurry with 2 tbsp water)
9. ½ tsp dried thyme
10. 1 tbsp cream (optional)
Procedure :
1. Switch on Sauté mode in the MultiCook. Add butter, onions, and garlic. Sauté for 2–3 minutes.
2. Add finely chopped mushrooms and cook for another 3 minutes until they release moisture.
3. Pour in water/stock, milk, salt, pepper, and thyme. Stir well.
4. Cancel Sauté mode and select Soup function. Cook for 10 minutes.
5. Once done, open the lid and stir in the cornflour slurry to thicken the soup (switch to Sauté for 2 mins if needed).
6. Add cream (if using) and mix well. Serve hot.
