Curry Leaf & Black Pepper Prawn fry

Curry Leaf and Black Pepper Prawn Fry is a flavourful South Indian dish with prawns stir-fried in aromatic curry leaves, black pepper, and spices for a spicy, crispy treat.

Ingredients :

1. Prawns (cleaned, deveined) 250 grams
2. Black pepper powder 1 tsp
3. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
4. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
5. Garlic cloves 2-3, minced
6. Ginger 1/2 inch, minced
7. Curry leaves A handful
8. Lemon juice 1/2 tsp
9. Salt To taste
10. Oil 1 tbsp
11. Fresh coriander leaves For garnish

Procedure :

1. In a bowl, mix the prawns with salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and lemon juice. Set aside for 5-10 minutes.
2. Heat oil in Grill Pan on medium heat. Add minced garlic, ginger, and curry leaves. Sauté until the garlic is golden and the curry leaves are crispy.
3. Add the marinated prawns to the grill pan and sprinkle black pepper powder. Toss everything well, ensuring the prawns are coated with the pepper and curry leaves.
4. Cook on medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the prawns are cooked through and slightly crispy on the edges.
5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
