One-Pot Macaroni Masala
A desi twist on a global favourite — this spiced macaroni dish is packed with veggies and flavour, all made in one pot for everyday ease.
Ingredients :
1. 1 cup elbow macaroni
2. 1½ cups water
3. 1 tsp oil
4. ½ tsp cumin seeds
5. 1 small onion (finely chopped)
6. 1 small tomato (chopped)
7. ¼ cup chopped capsicum
8. ¼ cup grated carrot
9. ½ tsp red chilli powder
10. ½ tsp garam masala
11. Salt to taste
12. 1 tbsp tomato ketchup (optional)
13. Fresh coriander for garnish
Procedure :
1. Switch on Sauté mode in the MultiCook. Add oil and cumin seeds.
2. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft.
3. Add tomato, capsicum, and carrot. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
4. Add chilli powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
5. Add macaroni, water, and ketchup (if using). Stir.
6. Cancel Sauté mode. Close the lid.
7. Select Manual mode and set the timer to 4 minutes.
8. Allow the pressure to release naturally.
9. Open the lid, stir gently, and garnish with coriander and Serve hot.
