Paneer Bhurji: The Bergner Way

Paneer Bhurji

Crumbled paneer sautéed with onions, tomatoes, and spices — a delicious, high-protein dish that comes together in minutes.

Ingredients :

1. 1 tbsp oil or ghee
2. ½ tsp cumin seeds
3. 1 small onion (finely chopped)
4. 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
5. 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
6. 1 tomato (finely chopped)
7. ¼ tsp turmeric powder
8. ½ tsp red chilli powder
9. ½ tsp garam masala
10. Salt to taste
11. 200 g paneer (crumbled)
12. 1–2 tbsp water (optional)
13. Fresh coriander for garnish

Procedure :

1. Switch on Sauté mode in the MultiCook. Add oil and let it heat.
2. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
3. Add onion and green chilli. Sauté until onion turns soft.
4. Add ginger-garlic paste. Cook for 1 minute.
5. Add tomatoes and cook until they soften.
6. Stir in turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
7. Add crumbled paneer and mix until coated in the masala.
8. Sprinkle 1–2 tbsp water if it looks too dry.
9. Cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cancel Sauté mode.
10. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with toast, roti, or paratha.
