Pepper Chicken Fry

A spicy, dry-style chicken stir-fry infused with crushed black pepper and curry leaves — bold, flavourful, and ready in minutes using the Sauté function.

Ingredients :

1. 300 g boneless chicken (cut into small pieces)
2. 1 tbsp oil
3. ½ tsp mustard seeds
4. 1 sprig curry leaves
5. 1 small onion (finely chopped)
6. 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
7. 1 tomato (finely chopped)
8. ½ tsp turmeric powder
9. ½ tsp red chilli powder
10. 1 tsp freshly crushed black pepper
11. Salt to taste
12. ¼ tsp garam masala (optional)
13. Fresh coriander or curry leaves (for garnish)

Procedure :

1. Switch on Sauté mode in the MultiCook. Heat oil.
2. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add curry leaves.
3. Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
4. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
5. Add chopped tomato and cook till soft.
6. Add turmeric, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well.
7. Add chicken pieces and cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
8. Add crushed black pepper and continue to cook until chicken is fully done and the masala turns dry.
9. Sprinkle garam masala if using. Mix well.
10. Garnish with fresh coriander or more curry leaves and serve hot.
