Ragi Halwa with Jaggery

A wholesome and iron-rich dessert made with ragi flour, ghee, and jaggery — perfect for festive moments or a healthy treat.

Ingredients :

1. ½ cup ragi flour
2. 2 tbsp ghee
3. ¼ cup powdered jaggery
4. 1¼ cups water
5. ¼ tsp cardamom powder
6. 1 tsp chopped cashews (optional)

Procedure :

1. Switch on Sauté mode in the MultiCook. Add ghee.
2. Add ragi flour and roast for 3–4 minutes, stirring continuously until aromatic.
3. Add water slowly, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
4. Cook for 3–4 minutes until the mixture thickens.
5. Add powdered jaggery and mix well until it melts completely.
6. Stir in cardamom powder and cashews (if using).
7. Continue cooking for another 2 minutes until the halwa reaches a smooth, glossy consistency.
8. Cancel Sauté mode and serve warm.
