HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR COOKWARE

SEASONING ( Turn your Tri-Ply into a natural non-stick)

While seasoning is not mandatory for stainless-steel cookware, it helps improve food release and reduces sticking.

Step 1: Clean the Pan

  • Wash your cookware with warm soapy water to remove any factory residues or oils.
  • Rinse and dry thoroughly

Step 2: Apply Oil

  • Before heating the pan, add about 1–2 teaspoons of high smoke-point oil (e.g. Sunflower oil ) to the pan.
  • Using a paper towel or cloth, rub the oil over the entire cooking surface, including the sides.

Step 3: Heat the Pan

  • Place the pan on the stovetop over medium heat.
  • Let it heat up until you see the oil start to smoke slightly.
  • This means the oil is forming a natural non stick layer on the pan.

Step 4: Cool and Wipe

  • Turn off the heat and let the pan cool completely.
  • Once cool, use a clean
    paper towel to wipe off
    any excess oil.

CLEANING METHOD

  • Allow the cookware to cool naturally before washing.
  • Clean with a neutral cleanser and a sponge.
  • Rinse and dry thoroughly to prevent stains from burning into the surface.
  • We recommend cooking on low to medium heat to prevent discoloration, which occurs mainly due to high flames.
  • To remove stubborn stains, yellow discoloration, or burn marks:
    1. Use a paste of baking soda and water; let it sit briefly, then scrub gently with a sponge.
    2. For yellow or heat stains, boil a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water in the cookware.
Let it to cool, then rinse and dry thoroughly

ESSENTIAL CARE & SAFETY TIPS

  • Adjust the burner so the heat only touches the bottom of the cookware and does not extend to the edges, advised to cook on low flame.
  • Keep handles away from direct heat sources to prevent damage.
  • Stainless-steel handles and knobs may become hot; use a thick cloth or kitchen towel when handling.
  • Lift the lid safely, allowing steam to escape away from you.
  • Always place the lid gently to avoid chipping or cracking, especially if it is glass.
  • Check that the lid fits properly to retain heat and cook efficiently.
  • Always prioritize safety while using the cookware.

✅ Do’s

1. Control the Heat
Use low to medium heat to avoid discoloration.
2. Place Cookware Properly
Always position cookware correctly on the stove for even heating.
3. Use a Lid for Safety
Cover with a lid to minimize oil splashes.
4. Don’t Overfill with Oil
Fill cookware with no more than one-third oil when deep-frying.
5. Refresh the Oil
Change oil frequently for better cooking results.
6. Turn Handles Inward
Keep handles turned inward to prevent accidental knocks.
7. Be Cautious with Steam
Use a thick cloth or kitchen towel and be careful of rising steam
when opening the lid.
8. Dry Before Storing
Dry cookware thoroughly before storing to avoid rust or stains.
9. Stack with Protection
Use a cloth or kitchen paper between stacked pieces to prevent
scratches.
10. Check Stove Compatibility
Ensure cookware is compatible with all stove types before use.
11. Keep Out of Reach of Children
Keep cookware away from children while in use for safety.

❌ Don’ts

1. Avoid High Flames
High heat can cause discoloration and damage the coating.
2. Don’t Leave It Empty on Heat
Never leave cookware empty on a hot burner or unattended.
3. Never Leave Hot Oil Unattended
It’s a risk and can overheat quickly.
4. Prevent Thermal Shock
Avoid placing hot cookware in cold water—it may warp or splash.
5. Skip Harsh Cleaners
Do not use steel wool, sharp tools, or corrosive cleaners. They can
scratch or stain the surface.
6. Not for Microwave or Campfire Use
Do not use stainless-steel cookware in a microwave or over an
open flame.
7. Don’t Store Acidic Foods
Avoid storing citrus, vinegar, salt, or pickles—they may cause
corrosion.
8. Keep Lids Out of Microwave
Lids and cookware are not microwave-safe—do not place them
inside.
9. Don’t Soak for Too Long
Avoid leaving cookware or lids soaking in water before or after
cleaning.

Following these guidelines will help maintain your cookware's performance and longevity. Enjoy your cooking experience!
